Jonathan M. Poole
Mr. Poole serves as the Deputy Director of United States Army Signal Regional Network Enterprise Center-Southwest (RNEC-SW), Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) - Fort Sam Houston, Texas, with a span of responsibility that includes support for one Administratively Controlled (ADCON) Network Enterprise Center (NEC) located at Fort Johnson; three Operationally Controlled (OPCON) NECs located at Corpus Christi Army Depot, Red River Army Depot and McAlester Army Ammunition Plant; and three geographically separated locations, Camp Bullis, Camp Stanley and the 177th Armor Brigade at Camp Shelby. He manages a regional staff engaged in delivering and enforcing the Army IT portfolio services, policies, standards, architectures, programs and plans to tenants assigned to the RNEC-SW area of responsibility.
His previous civil service assignments are: Regional Network Enterprise Center-Southwest (RNEC-SW), Chief Technology Officer, December 2021- May 2022; RNEC-SW, Chief, Network Infrastructure Division, October 2017-December 2021; RNEC-SW, Chief, Enterprise Systems Division, January 2017-May 2017; RNEC-SW, Chief, Cyber Compliance Branch, November 2014-January 2017 and May 2017-September 2017; NEC-JBSA, Chief, Customer Support Branch, October 2012-November 2014. Mr. Poole is an Air Force veteran and retired from active-duty service in 2009.
Mr. Poole’s Civilian education includes a Master of Science in Management, Bachelor of Science in Electronics Management, Associate in Applied Science in Computer Science Technology, and Associate in Applied Science in Electronic Systems Technology. Certifications include: IC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA Security+, Lean IT Foundations, IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation and Software Quality Engineering Certified Tester. He is a graduate of the Civilian Education System (CES) Senior Leader’s Course, CES Advanced Course, NEC Leaders Course, Supervisor Development Course and Action Officers Course.
